By Air: Hyderabad is very well connected to the other major cities through a network of airline operators. At Hyderabad Airport tourist taxis (including pre-paid service) and auto-rickshaws are easily available. Driving time to most hotels in Hyderabad is less than 30 minutes by either transport. Auto-rickshaws are metered and the fare to a similar distance will come to about Rs. 40-60.
By Rail: Hyderabad and Secunderabad are extensively covered by the railway network. The Charminar Express provides an excellent overnight connection to Chennai. Some of the other major centers linked to Hyderabad/Secunderabad are Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Calcutta, Cochin and Rajkot.
Secunderabad Railway Station, the more used of the two, is centrally located. The city bus service operates from the railway station.
